DALLAS (Nov. 11, 2015) – DHISCO, the world’s leading hotel distribution company, has appointed four industry leaders to key positions, CEO Toni Portmann announced today.
Greg Berman was named chief operating officer. He comes from eRevMax Inc., a B2B hospitality and travel electronic distribution company, where he was COO and chief technology officer. Noreen Henry, formerly vice president of business development at Intent Media, was appointed chief revenue officer. Intent Media develops products to drive traffic to advertisers on online travel sites.
Berman and Henry each have more than 25 years’ experience in the travel technology and distribution industries.
In addition to the C-level appointments, DHISCO named Jennifer Mays vice president of product design and Anne Cole vice president of content.
Portmann said the additions underscore DHISCO’s ongoing commitment to developing the most advanced technologies aimed at helping its hospitality distribution partners grow their businesses.
“We are working hard to revolutionize this industry, and these four have the creativity, inspiration, vision and leadership skills needed to help accomplish our goals,” she said. “I am pleased to be adding such a powerful roster of talent to the DHISCO management team.”
Prior to his three years with eRevMax Inc., Berman spent seven years at Hotel Booking Solutions Inc., where he served in a variety of roles, including COO and CTO. He gained more than two and a half decades of experience in sales, marketing, information systems, information technology, software development, international business management, customer service and support operations with Peak Technologies, Fujitsu, Albion, Coca-Cola and Texas Instruments.
“I am thrilled to welcome such an established leader and visionary to DHISCO’s management team,” Portmann said. “He brings not only a wealth of experience to DHISCO, but a clear commitment to developing the strategic solutions that we need to drive this industry into the next generation.”
Henry has more than 25 years of experience at startup companies and corporations that provide technology and distribution solutions across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Prior to joining Intent Media, she spent 13 years at Travelocity in a number of roles, most recently as senior vice president of global partner services. She also worked for Sabre, Netscape and AOL.
“Noreen’s track record for leading high-performing global teams is a perfect fit for DHISCO,” Portmann said. “She has a keen ability to collaborate with clients and is widely known and highly regarded by our hotel, OTA and GDS partners.” Mays developed a passion for analytics and data during more than 16 years of travel industry experience with Travelocity and Sabre, Portmann said. “I am confident Jennifer’s unique insights into the evolving hotel distribution landscape will make a significant impact on DHISCO and our partners, now and into the future.”
Cole successfully executed targeted business initiatives for Wyndham Hotel Group, Hilton Worldwide, Sabre and American Airlines and is an expert at leveraging distribution technology to develop compelling customer experiences, Portmann said. “Anne’s expertise will help us take the lead in developing and optimizing content approaches that drive opportunities and deliver profits to our clients.”
