NISSWA, MINN. (December 1, 2020) – Cote Family Destinations is pleased to announce the appointment of Donald Lenahan to the position of general manager of Grand View Lodge, Spa and Golf Resort. An industry veteran with over 30 years of luxury hospitality experience, Lenahan will oversee all of the management and operations for the iconic lakeside property to continue to position Grand View Lodge as the preferred resort destination in Minnesota and the greater Midwest.
Lenahan will drive operations of the year-round resort’s 2,500 feet of beautiful shoreline on Gull Lake, its wide variety of accommodations, North; a boutique hotel, medley of dining options, Glacial Waters Spa, 45 holes of championship golf, event spaces, and robust activities program.

Prior to joining Grand View Lodge, Lenahan held the position as hotel manager of the Westin Kansas City and the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center, a multi-branded Complex consisting of 1,444 guest rooms, extensive event space and nine food and beverage outlets. Lenahan has also held leadership roles at numerous luxury properties within The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and noteworthy private clubs, most recently serving as director of hotel operations for The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage and general manager of The Amelia Island Equity Club. He also held executive leadership roles at The Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort, Jamaica, The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai, and The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta. He also was a pivotal team member of The Ritz-Carlton’s New Hotel Openings Task Force, where he provided pre-opening operational expertise for new build or flag conversions through critical path process management.
A dynamic professional with extensive experience in world-class hotel and golf operations both domestic and international, Lenahan is well placed to help poise the historic resort for another successful century, and beyond.
