New hotel opens in Lima and unveils gastronomic experiences in partnership with renowned chef
LIMA, March 14, 2024 – Hilton (NYSE: HLT) announced the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Lima San Isidro, a new benchmark in executive hospitality with an eclectic design and a gastronomic proposal developed by Grupo Aramburú Matriz in the financial and economic district of the Peruvian capital.
This property received an investment of more than US $17 million from Peruvian and Spanish partners. The hotel has 117 rooms and boasts the highest quality standards of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand, with a commitment to innovative design that combines contemporary elements with art deco style details. The hotel features three meeting rooms with capacity for up to 90 people, a restaurant, lobby bar, pastry shop, as well as a gym, swimming pool and rest area on the rooftop.
“We entrusted Gashu Arquitectos with an innovative design with an eclectic touch to enhance the hotel,” said Ricardo Sanahuja, member of the hotel’s board of directors. “Located strategically in the San Isidro district, the hotel is an ideal option for both business and travelers due to its proximity to the main financial and business centers of Lima, as well as the attractive areas of the city and its historic center, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.”
From the moment guests enter they are welcomed by a cozy and elegant atmosphere that combines classic elements with contemporary touches, collecting images of structures from the Historic Center of Lima in different textures. The walls, floors, furniture and lamps are designed with lines and curves that combine circular arcs, geometric patterns, reflections and transparencies that add a unique touch to the hotel’s overall aesthetic.
“Through our 117 rooms and the different spaces and facilities, guests will enjoy unique experiences that will leave unforgettable memories,” said Giancarlo Gamboni, general manager. “Lima has become the main gastronomic destination in Latin America, which is why we decided to partner with Grupo Aramburú Matriz, to develop, manage and lead the Food and Beverage area, given that they are creators of gastronomic experiences for hotels in Lima since 2018.”
The renowned chef Francesca Ferreyros will be in charge of the gastronomic proposal that will be offered in her restaurant Frina, which combines the best of Peruvian and international cuisine in a natural and relaxing environment. Riwi pastry shop, includes a show cooking area, and the Lunatica rooftop, a vibrant, dynamic space and an oasis in the sky that will become a meeting place, both for Lima residents and travelers, where they can enjoy unique moments.
