Located just 15 minutes from Gettysburg, the Antrim 1844 is set across 24 acres at the foot of Central Maryland’s Catoctin Mountains. The Mansion, a historic 17,000 square foot building with towering ivory columns and sweeping grand porches, anchors the property with nine guest rooms across three floors. Each of Antrim 1844’s 40 guest rooms and suites are uniquely decorated and set in different buildings around the property including The Barn, The Cottage, The Carriage House and more, all with their own history.
Executive Chef, Ilhan Erkek, uses the freshest and finest ingredients to masterfully create French American cuisine at The Smokehouse Restaurant, named the Best Historic Restaurant in America by Historic Hotels of America. With more than 17,000 bottles of wine, the Antrim 1844 has one of the most extensive wine cellars on the East Coast from famed regions around the world.
