(MADISON, WIS.) – Fairfield Inn & Suites Madison South announced its opening, offering a combination of style, comfort and convenience for both leisure and business travelers. Nestled just off Beltline Highway and adjacent to the Sheraton Madison Hotel, this 89-room hotel features 75 standard guestrooms and 14 suites.
The hotel boasts a premier location for exploring the area or getting work done, with easy access to downtown Madison and attractions on the east and west sides of the city. Situated within the vibrant Alliant Energy Center area, the hotel marks one of the latest revitalization projects in the city’s ongoing efforts to modernize facilities and attract a diverse range of events.
Guests can take advantage of an array of amenities meant to enhance their stay, such as complimentary breakfast, complimentary shuttle service to downtown and Dane County Regional Airport, a fitness center, indoor pool, market and an inviting outdoor patio. The hotel is also adjacent to the Capitol City Bike Trail and B-Bike rental station and features electric vehicle charging stations for guest convenience.
Brandon Harmon, General Manager, expressed enthusiasm for welcoming guests. “We’re excited to deliver an exceptional experience for both leisure and corporate travelers through top-notch customer service, upscale amenities and a strategic location that ensures a seamless stay,” Harmon stated.
Notably, the hotel shares ownership and management with its neighboring Sheraton Madison Hotel, owned by DeFoor Brothers and operated by Legacy Ventures. This ensures unified standards of excellence across both properties. Previously operating as a Comfort Inn, DeFoor Brothers acquired the property in 2022 and engaged Tri-North Builders of Fitchburg to complete a full renovation converting it to a Fairfield Inn.
