Minneapolis (January 26, 2017) – Carlson Hotels, Inc. (“Carlson Hotels”) announced that it has appointed Federico González Tejera as Chief Executive Officer, effective February 1, 2017. He will succeed David Berg who will leave the company following a brief transition period.

About Federico González Tejera Federico González Tejera is the former Chief Executive Officer of NH Hotel Group, where he developed and executed a Five-Year-Plan that helped significantly transform the company’s brand position and renovation strategy and increase profitability. He previously was a senior executive at Disneyland Paris, most recently serving as Deputy General Manager. Prior to that, he worked at Procter & Gamble in Madrid, Brussels, and Stockholm, and served as Country Head of Portugal. He majored in Economics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and received a Masters of International Trade and Finance from the École Supériore de Commerce de Paris.
About Charles Bromwell Mobus, Jr. Charles B. Mobus is a Managing Partner at Benedetto, Gartland & Company. He has been with the firm for more than 20 years, focusing on corporate advisory and capital raising assignments. Prior to BGC, Mr. Mobus was a Managing Director at Smith Barney, where he specialized in acquisitions, high-yield financing, and initial public offerings. Mr. Mobus also previously worked at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Inc. in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group and at Citibank N.A. He currently serves as Chair of the Nominating Committee at Rezidor Hotel Group, and as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Directors at Swissport. Mr. Mobus received a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University.
