NASHVILLE, TN (May 27, 2021) – Development partners Congress Group Inc. and AECOM Capital today announced Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville has topped out construction at its 40th story.

At more than 540 feet tall, it is one of the tallest buildings in the state of Tennessee. With its position on 1st Avenue, by the Cumberland River and in the heart of downtown, the skyscraper permanently reshapes the Nashville skyline, visible from 360 degrees around the city.

“Today, we officially celebrate the topping out of an iconic tower which has already become a fixture on Nashville’s skyline,” said Dean Stratouly, President and CEO of Congress Group. “Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville further signals Nashville’s arrival on the world’s stage. We’d like to thank our many partners and team members who worked hard to help us achieve this important milestone. We’re proud of this achievement and can’t wait to welcome guests and residents next year.”

“Two years after breaking ground, we are excited to see the topping out of this important project in downtown Nashville,” said Timothy Haskin, Partner and Senior Managing Director, AECOM Capital Real Estate. “This milestone is a testament to those of us who believed the timing was right for Four Seasons to come here. The culture and welcoming nature of Nashville will continue to draw people and companies in, and this building will be a sought-out and much-admired part of the city’s skyline.”

Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville is a five-star, full-service hotel with 235 keys, a world-class spa, an array of lavish amenities, and 143 Private Residences which will set a new standard for premium living in Music City. With construction led by AECOM Hunt, the project is pursuing LEED Gold and well on schedule for a 2022 hotel opening and move-ins for home owners of the Private Residences.

“With topping out achieved, the reality of living here next year is resonating throughout the market. We are wrapping up our Spring Real Estate Release with a limited amount of homes available, but the window is still open for a short period to secure a home now before our next release later this year,” said Director of Sales Marie-Laure Frère.

To reach the topping out milestone, the construction team used:

  • 851,000 square feet of concrete plates and finishes
  • 42,700 cubic yards of concrete overall
  • 2,500 tons of rebar
  • 469,000 lbs of post-tension cables
