Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston, the Forbes Five Star luxury hotel, has named Ahmed Yacout as its new General Manager. A veteran team member with 16 years of service at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Yacout brings a wealth of hospitality management experience. His background includes his most recent role at the award-winning Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, in addition to posts at the brand’s renowned properties in Austin, Chicago, Washington, DC and Alexandria, Egypt.
Located in the heart of the chic Back Bay neighbourhood, the 61-storey Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street was recently named the #1 hotel in Boston and one of the top 20 hotels in the United States by U.S. News and World Report’s annual Best Hotels Ranking. In his new role, Yacout is charged with ushering the acclaimed property into its next successful chapter.
“Boston is a fascinating and dynamic city that offers something for everyone, whether you’re a fan of American history, a foodie, a patron of the arts, or just someone who loves exploring new places,” says Yacout.
“The fact that this is such an energetic sports town doesn’t hurt either,” he adds with smile. “As the new General Manager of this exceptional property, I am committed to bringing a world-class experience to our guests and residents, one that will exceed their expectations and create lasting memories.”
Originally from Queens, New York, Yacout grew up a quick subway ride from Manhattan, home to some of the world’s most iconic hotels. His fond memories of exploring these landmarks in awe and admiration are what initially inspired him to pursue a career in hospitality.
Within his tenured history with Four Seasons, he most recently worked at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas as Hotel Manager where he became a pillar of the local hospitality community by serving on the board of directors for the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association, and volunteering as guest lecturer at The William F. Harrah College of Hospitality at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Yacout began his Four Seasons career in 2007 as part of the pre-opening team at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano in Egypt before moving back to the US where he was in leadership roles at Four Seasons Hotel Austin, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago and Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management from the University of Alexandria in Egypt.
In his free time, Yacout enjoys the outdoors with his wife, two daughters and German shepard, Brooklyn. Together, they are eager to explore New England’s natural beauty. The family also loves to cook together and all are excited to begin infusing some of the area’s local ingredients into dinner.
