With eyes around the world focused on Brazil in the summer of 2016, Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro will debut this spring, followed by the openings of Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi and Grand Hyatt Manila. Together these anticipated openings are expected to drive new momentum for the brand’s continued growth worldwide with additional hotels expected to join the world-class portfolio in the upcoming years.

Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro, Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi and Grand Hyatt Manila will exemplify the Grand Hyatt brand’s signature level of grandeur with an abundance of options and the foundation for creating spectacular experiences. Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro The opening of Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro in spring 2016, which is designed as a 5-star urban resort, will mark new territory for the brand’s expansion within Latin America. The opening of Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro follows the opening of Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen luxury resort in 2015, and the hotel will join Grand Hyatt Santiago and Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo in bringing the Grand Hyatt experience to Latin America. Situated in the heart of the prestigious Barra da Tijuca neighborhood, Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro’s stunning beachfront location overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and the magnificent Marapendi Lagoon.
The hotel’s 436 guestrooms and lobby are designed by the internationally acclaimed designer, Yabu Pushelberg, and will blend sleek modern design with the sophistication of coastal living and locally inspired elements. The renowned Brazilian architect, Arthur Casas, is designing the hotel’s three signature restaurants, each with exclusive food and beverage concepts, all featuring world-class quality with strong local connections.
The hotel will also feature a full-service spa with an array of relaxation, rejuvenation and beauty treatments, as well as a fully equipped 24-hour gym and yoga/movement studio. An integrated conference and events center will accommodate a range of options for upscale meetings, conferences, social events and weddings, complete with a dedicated staff to assist in planning and execution.
Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Residences Emirates Pearl will join two existing Hyatt hotels in the region. Designed by award winning Austrian architect Dennis Lems, the contemporary luxury city resort will be set in the prime West Corniche location of Abu Dhabi Island close to the Presidential Palace. The 428 luxurious rooms, suites and full service apartments will offer spectacular views across the capital’s skyline, along the Corniche and Arabian Gulf, with the convenience of direct access to the city’s dynamic business hub and shopping districts. Created by UK designers, MKV Design Ltd., the hotel will feature modern and bold interiors inspired by the sea, sand and pearl heritage of Abu Dhabi. The hotel will feature eight international contemporary entertaining and high-energy dining options as well as multiple meeting venues with a ballroom to provide the ultimate glamorous venue for meetings, events and social occasions. An extensive spa, two outdoor pools, one of the largest Abu Dhabi hotel gym and fitness areas, private beach facilities and two intimate cinemas create a memorable experience for guests.
Grand Hyatt Manila Grand Hyatt Manila Hotel and Residences will be part of a two-tower upscale mixed use building in the residential, entertainment and business district of Fort Bonifacio Global City in Metro Manila. The hotel will be located on the top 14 floors of the 66-story office and hotel tower and will feature 438 guest rooms. Additional hotel amenities will include multiple food and beverage offerings, a spa, fitness center and pool, and comprehensive business and meeting facilities with state of the art technology. The residences will be located in the second tower and will offer 220 luxury units with private access to the hotel’s amenities. Wong + Ouyang and Ove Arup & Partners are the architects and engineers behind the Grand Hyatt Manila Hotel and Residences. The interiors are being designed by Bilkey Llinas Design.
