Calgary, Alberta – August 23, 2016 – GuestTek, a global leader in broadband technology and interactive solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced several organizational changes to streamline operations and strengthen its global growth strategy.
GuestTek is moving to a decentralized leadership model, appointing regional presidents and managing directors to better serve each region. With fewer layers for quick adaptability, the newly appointed leaders will take full responsibility for their regions, in turn eliminating the need for the global Chief Operating Officer role.
In light of these changes, effective immediately, Don Moore has accepted the new role of President of the Americas, while maintaining his existing role as Chief Marketing Officer. Michael Vargosko has been promoted to Managing Director of Europe, Africa and Middle East, with Matt Mitchell taking on the role of Managing Director of Asia.
Continuing its commitment to remain at the forefront of technology advances, GuestTek has additionally created two new positions. As President of Bullhead Innovations, Peter Warrick will spearhead an incubator of new and exciting ideas both in the hospitality industry and other industries. Gopinath Ramanan, the Vice President of Research and Development, will ensure GuestTek’s R&D remains at the vanguard of technology advancements.
