Calgary, Alberta – October 26, 2016 – GuestTek, a global leader in broadband technology and interactive solutions for the hospitality industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Beatty as Managing Director of the Asia Pacific Region.
Mr. Beatty has more than 25 years of business experience across nearly 70 countries, with his last 10 years focusing on hospitality. Prior to joining GuestTek, Greg was the Chief Operating Officer for another industry leading hospitality company based in Dubai. Greg also worked for PCCW in Hong Kong, Alcatel-Lucent in Australia and several Verizon telecommunications ventures throughout Asia. He started his international career in 1991 at Baker & McKenzie in Bangkok.
Greg’s biggest strength is building teams, where everyone is engaged in servicing the customers’ needs. Phrases like “serve the customer or serve someone who is” is a typical phrase that can be heard in his Town Hall meetings when visiting country offices across Asia. Ultimately, the mission for GuestTek in APAC, he says, “is to deliver technology solutions that will provide a branded experience and create customer loyalty”.

Greg has a Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law, Boston and a BA from Colby College. He is a university lecturer in his spare time.
