EXETER, New Hampshire (September 11, 2015) – Hay Creek Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Victor J. Cappadona as General Manager of the Cranwell Resort, Spa & Golf Club. In this capacity, he will have a variety of responsibilities, including rooms, food & beverage, golf and spa operations.
Mr. Cappadona, a Berkshire’s native from Sheffield, MA has a long and successful history in the hospitality industry, including having served as Assistant General Manager of the property for nearly a decade in 1994. Prior to returning “home” to Cranwell, he served as the General Manager of the Country Club of Pittsfield where he was responsible for all operational functions of this 700 member Club. Before that he held the position of General Manager of The Orchards Hotel & Gala Restaurant for Hay Creek Hotels in Williamstown, where he successfully transitioned the property in the marketplace. He has also held positions at the Stouffer Mayflower Hotel in Washington. DC and the Stouffer Harbor place Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.

Mr. Cappadona is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts where he received a degree in business administration and Hotel/Resort/Restaurant Management. He served on the boards of Williams Town Chamber of Commerce, Unico of Pittsfield, and has worked with numerous charities and business in the County from BMC, Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club, and Civitan to name a few. He currently resides in Lanesborough with his two daughters.
