Mexico stands as Hilton’s largest and fastest growing market in the Caribbean and Latin America with more than 100 hotels welcoming guests across the country and 40 projects in the pipeline. This growth is driven in part by the value of Hilton’s award-winning brands, which continue to attract hotel developers, and the local expertise of Hilton’s in-market development team.
In 2024, Hilton has signed more than 10 new hotel deals in Mexico across multiple brands and segments furthering its multi-brand, multi-destination growth. Notable signings in the lifestyle and full-service categories included Canopy by Hilton Guadalajara, a 170-room, new-build hotel expected to open in 2028 in the heart of the city; and Hilton Tijuana, which will represent the anticipated 2026 debut of the company’s flagship brand Hilton Hotels & Resorts in one of the country’s most important manufacturing hubs. In the focused service category, Hilton signed new deals under the Hampton by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and Tru by Hilton brands in sought-out destinations including Monterrey, Mazatlan, Ciudad Juarez, Ciudad Valles, Juriquilla, Saltillo and Mexico City. The company also signed the first Home2 Suites by Hilton branded hotel in the country set to open in Monterrey Santa Catarina in 2027.
In the luxury segment, Hilton welcomed more than 10 boutique properties in Mexico through its global partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), which are now available on all Hilton direct booking channels, including Hilton.com and the Hilton Honors app offering guests more exclusive options in the country.
