BEIJING, Dec. 11, 2017 — On 27th November 2017, HK CTS Hotels Co., Ltd. and Kew Green Hotels signed a strategic partnership with IHG to manage hotels in mainland China.
This deal will see Kew Green Hotels manage the existing 466 bedroom Crowne Plaza Beijing Lido from early 2018 and convert the 433 bedroom Metropark Beijing Lido into a Holiday Inn during 2018. The signing of this strategic partnership will enable Kew Green Hotels and HKCTS to work with other owners in mainland China seeking to franchise brands from IHG.
Stephen Woodhouse Operations Director commented: "This is a hugely exciting opportunity for us in growing our portfolio with our partners IHG in Hong Kong and mainland China. Our wealth of experience in strategic partnerships will support our growth through the Hong Kong office and we look forward to growing not only in China but Asia. This will give us an opportunity of working with new owners within the unique IHG brand."
Nick O'Keeffe, Director of Business Development, also commented: "This agreement illustrates the collaborative approach on projects with our shareholders, HK CTS Hotels Co., Ltd. We look forward to working with more owners in Asia as we expand our management capabilities beyond the UK."
Kew Green Hotels currently operate 10 hotels with over 3,000 bedrooms in Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China, under the direction of Stephen Woodhouse.
