Stockyards Heritage Development Co. and Hotel Drover are excited to announce the appointments of Morgan Yearout as director of revenue management and Marian Wilson as the executive director of sales and marketing for their upcoming Marriott Autograph Collection hotel. Set to open this fall, Hotel Drover will serve as the anchor and crown jewel for the Fort Worth Stockyards and Mule Alley mixed use development. The 6 story, 4-Star hotel will feature 200 rustic-luxe rooms and suites in addition to 15,000 square feet of meeting space and 97 West Kitchen & Bar, a regional dining concept led by executive chef Jenna Kinard.
“We were fortunate to meet a handful of talented professionals throughout the hiring process, but Morgan and Marian were exactly the candidates we were looking for. They both lead by example and are passionate about the project we’re developing in Fort Worth,” said Craig Cavileer, managing partner for Stockyards Heritage Development Co. and EVP of Majestic Realty Co.
In her role as director of revenue management, Yearout will lead the team in financial planning in collaboration with the vice president, general manager and director of sales and marketing. She brings a passion for “crunching numbers” and years of experience in hospitality financial work at Hilton Revenue Management Consolidated Center. Most recently, Yearout served as the regional senior director of revenue for The Joule, where she worked alongside recently announced general manager of Hotel Drover, Kristin Assad.
“Hotel Drover is paving the way for tourism and hospitality in Fort Worth and I feel incredibly honored to be a part of this amazing project,” said Yearout. “The hotel will be a staple in the Stockyards and I look forward to growing its presence in the community and beyond.”
Marian Wilson brings more than a decade worth of hospitality industry knowledge to her new role as executive director of sales and marketing at Hotel Drover. She will lead the sales team to nurture genuine connections with the guests and drive sales goals. Over the course of her decorated career, Wilson has held a variety of crucial roles for popular brands including Marriott Hotels and Resorts Corporations, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt Regency Hotels & Resorts. She comes to Hotel Drover from The Odessa Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Odessa, TX and is excited to nurture and coach the sales team at the hotel.
“I was drawn to Hotel Drover through the amazing team behind the project,” said Wilson. “My greatest pride is fostering a great team where individuals can grow and work towards their goals alongside other talented and driven individuals and that’s exactly the environment Hotel Drover possesses.”
