Baltimore, MD— Hotel Revival, a Joie de Vivre hotel located in the heart of Baltimore’s historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, is pleased to announce the appointment of Donte Johnson as general manager.
As general manager, Johnson is responsible for overseeing and executing hotel and property operations, including staff management, guest satisfaction and community relations.
Johnson brings nearly two decades of industry experience to the year-old Hotel Revival. He began his career in 2001 with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and has since held several positions including concierge, director of guest services, area revenue manager, assistant general manager and general manager. In 2009, Johnson was the youngest employee ever promoted to general manager for Kimpton Hotels.
Most recently, Johnson served as both director and general manager of the Riggs Hotel Washington, D.C., an independent hotel operated by international hospitality company, Lore Group.
In 2011, he was named to the Washington Business Journal’s highly coveted “Top 40 Under 40” list, an honor that recognizes standouts in his or her industry who have also made an impact serving the Greater Washington community.
Johnson received a bachelor’s in communications from Saint Peter’s University in New Jersey.
