HotSpot International has announced its intention to acquire Sunray Technology Ventures Inc. (“Sunray”), a leader in hospitality network design and management. The acquisition of Sunray enhances HotSpot International’s capabilities of providing industry-leading networking services to its customers throughout the U.S. and Latin America, and underscores a five-year working relationship between the two vanguards.
The purchase of Sunray fits into HotSpot International’s strategy to become the leader in hospitality network design and management within North America.
The turn-key solutions provider will maintain Sunray’s team in whole, reassuring Sunray’s customers that they can expect the same passion, high-touch service, and performance, with the extended capabilities that the combined company will offer. “Our two companies are incredibly proud of the quality of our overall solution, the quality of our ongoing technical advice, and the quality of our service,” said Louis Miller, CEO of HotSpot International. “By combining these two great companies, we will increase our service offerings to our existing customers, enhance our presence in the hospitality industry, and increase our operational capacity. Sunray’s stellar reputation and deep customer relationships are a perfect fit with HotSpot International.” The Sunray team is equally excited. “Sunray has been providing the industries best, cloud-based, vendor-neutral platform for managing, analyzing, and trending visitor-based networks for years,” said Chris Headings, Executive Vice President of Sunray. “Combining our resources allows us to maximize our capabilities and direct investments into furthering innovation, which will ensure that our customers have access to the best overall solution.” With the acquisition of Sunray, HotSpot International adds an executive team that has worked together for over a decade and a software platform that was built from the ground up to address operational and technical deficiencies that all service providers face.
