(June 30, 2022) – Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa, an iconic resort in the heart of Greater Palm Springs, announces the promotion of Sean Kim to director of commercial services. Mr. Kim brings nearly two decades of hospitality experience, including the past four years at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells where he has served as director of revenue management. In this new role, which is a first for the desert resort and limited to just five properties within the entire Hyatt portfolio, Mr. Kim will oversee revenue, events, and sales and marketing operations for the AAA Four Diamond resort.

Mr. Kim graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Motel and Restaurant Management, launching his career with Hilton in 2005 and soon after joining Hyatt in 2007. Throughout his hospitality career, he has gained a breadth of experience in numerous hotel departments, including front office and reservations at Hyatt Regency Long Beach, where he earned the accolades of Manager of the Quarter and Manager of the Year in back-to-back years. In his most recent role as director of revenue at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells, Mr. Kim was a Hyatt Leadership Award nominee for revenue management in both 2016 and 2017. Prior to joining the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells team, he oversaw revenue management at Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport and acted as assistant director of revenue management at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa.
