21 October 2024 – Tokyo, Japan: IHG ANA Hotels Group Japan (IHG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kiyohito Iinuma as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Japan.
In addition to his current position as Director of Operations, Japan, Kiyohito will now also serve as the ANA appointee to the joint venture and as a Director of IHG ANA Hotels Holdings Co., Ltd.

Kiyohito brings more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry to the role of COO, having started his career with ANA Hotels. His journey begun at ANA Hotel Tokyo (now ANA InterContinental Tokyo), after which he successfully transitioned to a revenue management position at the company’s Tokyo Support Centre, before moving back into hotel operations in General Manager roles at IHG hotels across Japan.
Kiyohito’s leadership qualities were further recognised as he advanced to Area General Manager, overseeing ANA Crowne Plaza properties in Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Kanazawa, and Toyama. Last year he returned to the Support Centre as Director of Operations, with responsibility for improving support for hotels, better brand alignment and deeper owner engagement.
Kiyohito’s appointment is a testament to IHG’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing growth opportunities for colleagues within its organisation.
