Early adopters see average of 230% growth in reservations through TripConnect booking engine channel since launch
Hendersonville, TN – March 3, 2015 – InnLink Central Reservation Services has been making great strides in leveraging their TripConnect Premium Partner certification to increase hotel participation and driving incremental reservations for their independent hotels. Implementation of the new TripConnect® instant booking capability is well received by hotels and penetration is growing rapidly in the InnLink customer base. Initial adopters have seen an average of 230% growth in TripConnect booking engine reservations since instant booking functionality was introduced.
“InnLink is a great partner to work with because they have found a winning formula,” said Maud Larpent, Director, Direct Connect Development, TripAdvisor. “They quickly established best practices for rolling out TripConnect instant booking, extending the reach to more independent hotels and collaborating with their reseller partners. TripConnect Premium Partners make it possible for their accommodation clients to drive more bookings from their property page on TripAdvisor, creating a smooth and easy booking process for the traveler and putting the hotel in touch with their guest from the outset.”
“We’ve had one of the fastest adoption rates for TripConnect instant booking of any new channel that we have implemented” stated InnLink CEO, Richard Corso, “We expect our growth in this channel to be a great value-add for cost-effective reservations. As TripAdvisor rolls this capability out to IP addresses beyond the US, we will see this become a more significant distribution channel for our customers.”
TripConnect instant booking allows travelers to make a hotel reservation on TripAdvisor without leaving the site experience. The reservation is delivered directly to the property via InnLink and includes all guest information. This is a powerful and competitive new tool for independent hotels to grow their business and manage the guest relationship from the moment of the reservation. Hotels pay a commission on the booking after the guest has completed their stay.
