Enhanced uniform tracking capabilities offer cost savings, improved inventory control and workload efficiencies for clients.
LOS ANGELES, CA – 23 October, 2018 — InvoTech Systems, Inc. announces the recent integration of RFID technology into the Uniform Tracking System at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino locations in Tampa and Hollywood, Florida, which combined, manage uniform inventory for approximately 6,700 employees. InvoTech Systems is the leading provider of advanced Linen Management, Laundry and Uniform Systems globally, and is one of the first companies to integrate the latest RFID technology into its systems management protocols. RFID stands for radio-frequency identification, which uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to objects. The tags contain electronically-stored information. The technology integration will result in measurable cost savings for hotels, resorts, casino operators, sports arenas, convention centers and theme parks where extensive uniform supply systems are in place. InvoTech’s client portfolio of RFID Uniform systems worldwide includes over 40 Native American casinos.
The RFID technology upgrade also provides cost-saving benefits by automating manual tasks. Specialized waterproof RFID tags are discreetly attached to each uniform piece, replacing the old barcode labels. The InvoTech Uniform System automatically tracks RFID tagged uniform pieces when issued to employees and when shipped to and received back from the laundry. Previously, the barcode labels had to be located on the uniform and scanned individually for each of these daily processes. The RFID technology allows for multiple uniforms to be processed simultaneously and all relevant information and record-keeping occurring automatically.

“As long-time users of InvoTech Uniform Systems, we were pleased to be one of the first companies to upgrade our systems with the RFID technology. The new system was implemented with ease and will provide measurable efficiencies and cost savings for both properties,” said Drew Schlesinger, Vice President of Hotel Operations at the Hollywood, Florida location.
The system integrates with automated uniform conveyors to distribute the uniforms to employees, and automatically records which uniforms are taken out of inventory. The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino properties also use portable, handheld RFID readers with InvoTech mobile software for flexibility with locations where uniforms can be processed. InvoTech’s software is flexible, can provide custom solutions unique to each client’s requirements and is compatible with many conveyor systems currently on the market.
Oswald Lares, InvoTech Director of Sales, said “By upgrading their uniform systems our customers automate their uniform operations. InvoTech customers see an ROI in the first year by eliminating losses and reducing purchases. The InvoTech RFID technology instantly provides additional savings through increased efficiency. More than 600 properties worldwide rely on InvoTech’s Uniform System to increase profitability through more efficient operations and processes.”
