Crescent Hotels & Resorts selected as management company

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (August 16, 2024) – Jackson-Shaw, a national real estate developer headquartered in North Texas, announces the hiring of Malia Johnson as Director of Sales for its dual-branded AC Hotel by Marriott Symphony Park and Element by Westin Symphony Park in Las Vegas.

The two hotels, managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, are connected under one roof and are located on the south side of South Grand Central Parkway and Symphony Park Avenue between the World Market Center and The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. Together, sharing one address, the five-story development will feature 441 high-quality guest rooms and is expected to open in late 2025.

Johnson brings 15+ years of proven sales performance in the hospitality and service industries. A Las Vegas native, Johnson was most recently responsible for the growth and profitability of the Las Vegas and Nashville markets, which comprised 13 hotels, 1700 rooms, and a portfolio totaling $80 million+ annually.

The hotel is being developed in partnership with Compatriot Capital, and Hall Structured Finance is providing construction financing. Grand Canyon Development Partners is the construction manager, Whiting-Turner is the general contractor and Cooper Carry is the architect.
