Its facilities will include seven banquet and meeting rooms, multiple dining facilities, a business center, a fitness club and an indoor pool. “Adding Hotel Nikko Taizhou to our group presents us a great opportunity,” says Marcel van Aelst, President and CEO of JAL Hotels. “We look forward to serving as a home away from home to top life science and medical talent from around the world.”
The agreement to manage the hotel was made between JAL Hotels Co., Ltd. and BTG-Nikko International Hotel Management Co., Ltd., a joint-venture company; and Taizhou Tongtai Investment Co., Ltd.
The hotel will be the tenth Nikko Hotels International property in China after the 477-room Hotel Nikko Suzhou opens in May.
