CHICAGO, Sept. 18, 2024 – JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality group announced today that Daniel C. Peek has joined the firm as President of JLL Americas region. Over the course of his career, he has completed nearly $60 billion in investment sales, debt and structured finance transactions.
Based out of JLL’s Tampa office, Peek will report to Americas Capital Markets CEO, Mark Gibson, partnering with Kevin Davis, Americas CEO for JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality group. Together, Davis and Peek will focus on driving client relationship management, investment sales, financing, tax and asset management strategies.

Prior to joining JLL, Peek served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Hodges Ward Elliott, where he led a global team responsible for executing institutional-grade commercial real estate transactions. Before that, he served as Senior Managing Director and Head of the hospitality practice group at HFF, where he established the firm’s dedicated hotel platform. Additionally, Peek co-founded Regent Street, an affiliate of The Plasencia Group (TPG), a boutique firm specializing in the sale, financing and advisory services for distinctive hotels and resorts throughout the Americas.
Peek is a graduate of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and its Hotel Development Council, the AHLA Investment Roundtable, the Board of Trustees of the AHLA Foundation and the advisory board of the Cornell Real Estate and Finance Center. Moreover, Peek is a recipient of the esteemed Jack A. Shaffer Financial Advisor of the Year award, which recognizes a dealmaker with exceptional skills in fostering and establishing relationships with the objective of successfully closing transactions that result in mutual benefits for both parties.
