Dubai, 4 August 2016: A British National, Graham joined Jumeirah in 2010 as the pre-opening and operations manager for Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, in Dubai. He has spent more than 30 years working in South East Asia and Greater China undertaking a number of General Manager positions in China, Singapore and Manila. He is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as well as German, French, Indonesian and Thai.

As Regional Vice President Graham will head operations across Greater China, where currently there are eight hotels in the Jumeirah Group pipeline. Graham will also continue his responsibilities leading the pre-opening-team for the new Jumeirah Guangzhou, a 198 room luxury hotel scheduled to open in 2019.

Graham Kiy, said: “I am delighted to be returning to China and am honoured to be charged with the opening of the Jumeirah Nanjing Hotel as well as lead the further expansion of our Jumeirah brand across the Greater China region. Jumeirah Nanjing is an exciting new property for Jumeirah in China. Nanjing is an important commercial centre and only an hour by train from Shanghai. Jumeirah Nanjing’s prime location within the city’s business district means that it will have strong appeal to the business traveller.”

In addition to being the General Manager for the 250 luxury room and suite Jumeirah Nanjing, which is expected to open in 2017, Graham will also lead the pre-opening team.
