‘Essential’ to hoteliers with average budgets, the new in-room solution features Kube Systems renowned charging versatility at a lower price point; Visit Kube Systems in Booth 653 at HITEC
[Jericho, NY—June 13, 2016] — Increasing demand from hoteliers in the mid-scale to limited-service hospitality segments has spurred Kube Systems to design a new mobile device charging solution that is sure to become an “Essential” part of a hotel’s in-room electronics offering. Equipped with even more charging options – but at a lower price point – the new Kube Essentials will be unveiled at HITEC in Booth 653, June 21 to 23 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
“Widespread global deployments of our Kube Clock and Kube 5 docking station this year at full-service, luxury and boutique hotels has not gone un-noticed by hoteliers in other segments,” said Dave Weinstein, Kube Systems Vice President. “Daily we field calls from hoteliers asking for information about our charging Kubes for guestrooms and public spaces. Unfortunately for some, the cost of these popular models is somewhat prohibitive in their segment. Therefore, we have designed a multi-device charger for ALL portable electronics including smart phones, tablets, cameras, wearable technologies – even laptops – that most hotels can afford and all guests will enjoy. Like our existing Kubes, it can charge multiple devices at one time, features built-in replaceable cables (so guests don’t have to remember theirs), and can be had with optional wireless charging.
“We hope everyone looking for an in-room charging solution at HITEC will stop by Booth 653 to see what today’s travelers consider to be ‘essential’ for their next stay,” he said.
In April, Kube Systems’ anchor product, the Kube Clock™, earned the coveted People’s Choice Award for “Best Technology Product.” The bedside alarm clock charges up to six mobile devices simultaneously and features an Apple® Lightning, Apple® 30-pin, and Micro-USB flip-out cable, two additional auto-sensing USB ports with optional wireless Qi. The Andaz West Hollywood in Los Angeles, the Hyatt Union Square Hotel New York, and the Distrikt Hotel New York City are among the most recent Kube Clock customers. Likewise, the Kube 5 (that houses five portable charging Kubes) is also growing in demand, with Firmdale Hotels recently making it a brand standard for properties in New York and London. Both solutions will be on display at HITEC, in addition to Kube System’s new product launch.
