Feb. 05–Lafontaine has been appointed to manage new properties in Saudi Arabia — LA Fontaine Royale Hotel in Jeddah and Lafontaine Le Lake Resort in Alkhobar.
The new four-star deluxe hotel in Jeddah, which will have around 60 rooms, will open by the first quarter of 2014. The hotel will feature a gymnasium, sauna, and steam room, a banqueting and conference hall with a capacity of 200 people, and a restaurant and coffee shop.
The property will also feature 10 executive suites, each with one and two rooms, which will be operated by Lafontaine Hotel and Resort. The hotel will target businessmen, airline crew, and family offering a wide range of services such as travel desk 24/7, ATM, business center and car Park with valet service.
Ashraf Hendawi, the company DSM, said: “Lafontaine Jeddah Hotel, situated in the heart of the city’s thriving commercial and leisure district, is ideal for business travelers or holidaymakers and families.
Hendawi said the property will focus on the luxurious setting, extensive facilities and impeccable service, all geared to make the guest’s stay memorable with the rich and elegant furniture and the lavish spread of relaxing area adding to the soothing ambiance.
Hendawi added that Lafontaine has been appointed to manage the new property of Siyaha International Company at Half Moon Bay in Alkhobar. This four-star resort will have around 42 chalets and is set to open in the first quarter of 2014. It will be operated by Lafontaine Hotel and Resort.
The resort will also feature eight royal chalets, each with two bedrooms and a private swimming pool and garden. The resort will target families by offering a wide range of services such as swimming pool, open area, sport center, sand beach, restaurant, coffee shop, car park and walkway.
