NAPLES, Fla. (June 2, 2020) – LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort, a Noble House Resort, located in Naples along Florida’s pristine Gulf Coast on a stunning, private, six-acre white sand beach proudly announces the appointment of Tim Herman as General Manager. In his new role, Tim will be responsible for managing the hotel’s day-to-day success, overseeing all operational aspects of the 189-room property and private club, including everything from sales and marketing, to food and beverage, while maximizing company revenue.

Tim, who has been a leader in the hospitality industry for more than 28 years, most recently served as General Manager for the 126-room Mansion on Forsyth Park, boutique Autograph Collection hotel located in the southern gem of Savannah, GA. At this property, he transformed all aspects of operations with keen focus on overall improved guest satisfaction. Among Tim’s previous leadership roles, he served as Assistant Vice President of Operations for Hotel San Remo Casino and Resort in Las Vegas and honed his F&B skills by serving as Director of Food & Beverage for multiple Las Vegas Resorts from 1992-2003 and NYC institution, The Plaza Hotel from 2003-2005.
During his career, Tim has successfully orchestrated numerous successful hotel, resort, casino and restaurant openings. Additionally, he has received multiple awards and nominations including Mentor of the Year Award by UNLV and Hosts’ General Manager of the Year nomination. Tim is a graduate of Choice Center Leadership and Rapport Leadership International.
