Napa Valley, Calif. (June 27, 2017) The newly opened Las Alcobas Napa Valley, a Luxury Collection Hotel, announces the appointment of Alain Negueloua as General Manager. Widely know and respected within the hospitality industry, Negueloua brings more than 30 years of experience and leadership to the luxurious 68-room resort in downtown St. Helena.
“We are delighted to welcome Alain back to his roots in California,” said Samuel Leizorek, Founder and CEO of the Las Alcobas brand and co-developer of Las Alcobas Napa Valley. “With his proven strong leadership and operational experience, I am confident that Alain will drive excellence and elevate the guest experience at Las Alcobas.”
Most recently, Negueloua was General Manager with Mandarin Oriental Boston. Prior to that, he spent several years managing the 100-room Meadowood Napa Valley property. Throughout his career, Negueloua held a variety of senior management positions, including Resident Manager and General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco, and General Manager of The Mark, New York. Before joining Mandarin Oriental, Alain gained over 13 years of managerial experience with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.

Negueloua studied human resources management at San Francisco State University, and holds an Associate of Arts degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from City College of San Francisco.
