Residence Inn Dothan held a renovation celebration with an official ribbon cutting on Tuesday, February 13, to unveil the hotel’s upgrades in all guest rooms and public spaces. The three-story property’s 84 suites now offer updated soft goods including paint, artwork, carpeting, furnishings (sofas and chairs), vinyl wall coverings/ wallpaper, window coverings and lighting.
The facility is one of two properties in Dothan, AL, managed by LBA Hospitality and owned by Apple Hospitality REIT, Inc. The Residence Inn Possibilities Décor Packages remodel featuring fresh new decor with contemporary appeal was completed by BMA Architectural Group and Team Contractors.
Designed for an array of travelers including extended stay, leisure and business transient guests, each of the Residence Inn Dothan’s residential-style suites features a fully equipped kitchen, stainless steel appliances, high-speed wireless Internet access and high-definition flat-screen televisions. In addition, the hotel offers complimentary breakfast served daily, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a sport court, open-air social space and Residence Inn Mix, an evening social including conversation paired with tasteful food and beverage options. For those looking to adventure outside of the property, a number of local attractions are only miles away, including but not limited to the US Army Aviation Museum, Westgate Park, Wiregress Museum of Art, Water World, Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail – Highland Oaks, Dothan Opera House and beaches on the Gulf Coast Panhandle.
The celebration was hosted by General Manager Pam Garrett and staff. Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, Visit Dothan Alabama CVB, city officials, top accounts and LBA leadership staff were all be in attendance.
