Grand Park Otaru, a luxury 296-room hotel located along Ishikari Bay in the beautiful sea-trading port of Otaru, today announced the appointment of Leslie Chiyoma as General Manager of the hotel.
Leslie joins the hotel with more than 20 years of hospitality experience where he held leadership appointments with luxury hotel chains and select service hotels in Japan, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa.
Born in Saitama, Japan, Leslie started his career as a sales manager in an international hospitality company. “I am excited to take the helm of Grand Park Otaru, a key landmark in the city, especially in this season of change for the hospitality industry. Together with the team, we look forward to welcoming guests and share our passion and dedication with them when they visit us,” shared Leslie.
Tapping on his wealth of knowledge, experience and relationships in the industry, Leslie will spearhead the strategic direction and business planning for Grand Park Otaru and lead the team to deliver the best stay experiences for guests and achieve business goals for stakeholders.
