Miami, FL – August 5, 2024 – Marriott International has announced Federico Greppi as Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Caribbean and Latin America (CALA). In this role, the Argentine executive with extensive experience in Latin America will lead operations in the CALA region.

Greppi’s most recent position was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Head of Franchise Operations and Owner Relations of Marriott International in the Caribbean and Latin America. He was instrumental in driving Marriott’s growth in the CALA region. The company currently operates nearly 500 properties across 38 markets, generating over $5 billion in revenue. His deep understanding of Latin American and Caribbean markets will be crucial in maintaining Marriott’s regional leadership.

With a career in hospitality spanning over two decades, Greppi joined the industry in 2003 and has held various positions at Marriott’s Headquarters, the Americas, and CALA divisions. Prior to Marriott, he was a respected consultant at Andersen, a global leader in consulting and financial services, where he worked with clients across various industries.

Greppi holds an MBA from the London Business School and a degree in Business Administration and Accounting.
