“Downtown Youngstown is undergoing a tremendous revitalization, making it an ideal location for a brand-new hotel catering to business and leisure travelers to the area,” said Mike Marshall, president and CEO, Marshall Hotels & Resorts. “The former Stambaugh Building has been completely transformed into the downtown area’s newest only upscale, full-service hotel. With its stunning neo-classical architecture, we are confident that it will become not just the destination of choice for travelers, but also a regular neighborhood stop for locals, as well.”
Conveniently located at 44 East Federal Plaza between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, the 12-story hotel is near such area attractions as OH WOW! Children’s Center for Science and Technology, Youngstown State University, Youngstown Business Incubator (YBI), America Makes, Covelli Center, New Riverfront Park and Amphitheater, Stambaugh Auditorium, Butler Museum of American Art, The DeYor Center for Performing Arts, and Mercy Health, St. Elizabeth Downtown Campus and the beautiful Mill Creek Metro Park. The ornate cornice at the top of the building is copper and the hotel boasts two floors of large Palladium style windows as well as many other historical details throughout the hotel. The guest rooms and suites are at once modern and classic in design. Hotel amenities include approximately 5,300 square feet of meeting/event space, ideal for events ranging from weddings to corporate meetings, to accommodate up to 150 people.

All room options include complimentary Wi-Fi, small refrigerator, coffee maker, an HDTV, a large working desk, plush top linens and deluxe bath products.
Guests are invited to dine at Bistro 1907, by Mark Canzonetta. The name is a tribute to the year renowned architect Albert Kahn’s design was brought to life. “It’s going to be urban, modern, and a throwback to a 1907 Parisian bistro," Canzonetta said. "We're going to have an extensive wine wall and what’s really cool about it: we have a library ladder that goes across the whole space." The open kitchen design is a staple of Canzonetta's vision. Bistro 1907 will be serving American food with some unique twists, offering everything from burgers to oysters and a kid’s menu. "The food's going to be dynamic. We're going to take something that you had as a child, we're going to spin it on its ear and make it modern and relevant and unbelievably delicious.”
