Charlotte, NC – March 6, 2023 – Charlotte-based Maya Hotels is pleased to announce its acquisition of two Hampton Inn-branded hotels in the Carolinas. The two Hampton Inns, Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte-Arrowood Rd., North Carolina and Hampton Inn Columbia Northeast-Fort Jackson, South Carolina, boast a total of 210 guest rooms. This transaction marks Maya Hotels’ second and third acquisitions over the last six months. The company also acquired the Avid Hotel Fort Mill, SC in the second half of 2022. The hotels will be renovated and managed by Maya Hotels.

The 100-room Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte-Arrowood is strategically located directly off of Interstate 77 in the highly desirable Arrowood submarket, with major local employers nearby. The Property is located five miles from Carowinds Amusement Park and six miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, the 6th-busiest airport in the United States in terms of passenger traffic.
The 110-room Hampton Inn Columbia Northeast-Fort Jackson is well-located directly off of two interstates: Interstate 77 and Interstate 20. This property is located four miles away from Fort Jackson, the U.S. Army’s main production center for Basic Combat Training, responsible for training fifty percent of all Soldiers. The hotel is also minutes from the University of South Carolina and downtown Columbia.
