Germantown, Tennessee — August 19, 2024 — Germantown, TN- based McNeill Hotel Company (MHC) recently named Everardo Montenegro as General Manager at its Home2 Suites by Hilton Gainesville (FL) Medical Center property. MHC President Travis Murray made the announcement.

A native of Panama City, Panama, Everardo Montenegro joins MHC with more than 20 years of hospitality experience, starting his career as a personal butler for Bristol Panama, the first luxury hotel in Panama in 1997. while studying hospitality management at the leading university of hospitality studies in Panama City, Universidad Interamericana de Panama. Upon graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree, Montenegro was accepted to the Walt Disney International College Program for a year, where he interned at Disney’s Boardwalk luxury resort property.

Montenegro joins McNeill after serving as Assistant General Manager at the Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans French Quarter/CBD and most recently at the Hilton Garden Inn Apopka City Center, where he led new programs that resulted in increased levels of guest satisfaction and operational excellence, while adhering to Hilton brand standards.  During his career, Montenegro has also served as an Accommodation Service Executive for Booking.com, and Director of Operations at Four Points by Sheraton Midland (TX).
