August 24, 2015 – Rosewood San Miguel de Allende, Mexico’s preeminent luxury boutique hotel, today announced the appointment of Anabel Ramos Acevedo as the property’s new Spa Director. In this role, Ramos will shape the spa and wellness vision for Sense, A Rosewood Spa® at Rosewood San Miguel de Allende, creating and developing innovative treatments and services, overseeing product selection and managing the spa’s staff.

Anabel boasts nearly a decade of experience working within the ultra-luxury hospitality space, including six years at Rosewood Mayakoba’s award-winning Sense spa in the Riviera Maya. During her time at Rosewood Mayakoba, Anabel served as the Spa Operations Supervisor, responsible for recruiting and training spa talent and overseeing the day-to-day operation of the spa. Most recently, she was Spa Manager for Feel Urban Day SPA by Live Aqua in Mexico City, where she shaped the spa’s sales strategy, budget, and social media strategy, in addition to coordinating the day-to-day operation of the space.

Located on the top floor of La Casona, the hotel’s main building, Sense spa at Rosewood San Miguel de Allende is inspired by San Miguel de Allende’s positive energy. The world-class spa sanctuary presents a full range of therapies, treatments, massage and facials and offers some of the most extensive facilities among San Miguel de Allende spas. Sense spa offers separate facilities for men and women, which feature saunas and steam rooms. Yoga and pilates instruction and personal trainers are also available at the well-appointed fitness center.
