JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. (November 22, 2022) – Mountain Modern has announced the completion of its property-wide transformation and expansion, which comes following the acquisition of Jackson Hole Lodge. Located at the corridor of downtown Jackson just steps from Town Square, the property has doubled its footprint to cover a full city block, welcoming locals and travelers with 59 new guest rooms and suites including two-story, residential-style Teton Townhomes; an outdoor pool and jacuzzi; and “The Triple M,” a contemporary social hub for the modern adventurer featuring unconventional après-ski offerings and 19,000 square-feet of new indoor-outdoor space, co-working and lounge areas, fire pits and more.

“We’re thrilled to see our desire to engage local communities and draw in adventurous travelers come to life even further with the development and expansion of Mountain Modern,” shares Robert Nolan, co-creator of the concept launched in 2017. “Offering the ideal home base for year-round adventure with intriguing new social spaces, an innovative yet approachable design and thoughtful amenities, we are confident that Mountain Modern will now even further foster a community built around outdoor adventure and those looking for a place to connect and play like a local.”

DESIGN AND ACCOMODATIONS

Designed by award-winning architecture and design firm TruexCullins, Mountain Modern features contemporary, destination-inspired furnishings that deliver a true sense of place within Jackson. Custom larger-than-life wall coverings celebrating Grand Teton backcountry and destination highlights including the local wildlife and Jackson’s world-class fly-fishing, are complemented with iconic pops of the beloved red buffalo plaid – a Western pattern donned by the legendary cowboys of yesteryear – giving rooms a playful color scheme that is infused throughout.

Mountain Modern’s 59 new guest rooms bring its total room count to 194. Among the new accommodations, which include king rooms, studios that feature a full kitchen, king and double-queen suites, the property has also unveiled six new two-bedroom, two-story residential-style Teton Townhomes that sleep up to eight people and boast a kitchen, living room with a fireplace, separate bedrooms, a private outdoor balcony and more. Perfect for families, groups of friends, or multi-generation memory-making vacations, guests staying in the Teton Townhomes, or any of our suites, can arrive with ease to a fully stocked fridge, courtesy of Mountain Modern’s new ‘Fuel Your Adventure’ grocery delivery service.

Tailored to the modern outdoor enthusiast, all guest rooms were designed with function in mind, and include practical features like custom gear walls serving as utilitarian decor and offering year-round storage for hiking boots, backpacks, skis and snowboards. Additional high-touch amenities include Malin & Goetz bathroom amenities in each of the subway-tiled bathrooms, interactive chalkboard word searches and more.

THE TRIPLE M

The expansion also unveils a new design-forward community social hub dubbed “The Triple M,” which will debut just in time for the winter ski season and serve as a year-round basecamp for guests whether they are fueling up before a day on the mountain or winding down after an adventure-packed afternoon. Fostering conversations and connections amongst locals and travelers, The Triple M will transform from day to night, acting as a modern co-working space during the day and lively communal lounge area at night. Guests will also find classic board games for added nostalgia, interactive lawn games, fire pits accompanied by s’mores kits and a robust lineup of music and entertainment.

Debuting this December 2022, The Triple M will also showcase new culinary offerings featuring unconventional après-ski fare, including casual bites and a marketplace serving local grab-and-go items and refreshments. Serving as a basecamp to fuel all adventures, The Triple M will also offer a custom coffee blend in partnership with local Snake River Roasting Company dubbed “Wake the Bear,” a cheeky theme which can also be found on the property’s new “Don’t Wake the Bear” privacy signs.

“From the family that’s enjoying their first ski vacation to the powder hound that frequents Jackson often, and the locals that value community-driven experiences, Mountain Modern serves as a homebase for everyone,” says General Manager Elena Schroth. “We’re excited to expand and elevate our offerings so that Mountain Modern can continue to be a year-round adventure launch pad that encourages guests to explore all that Jakson Hole has to offer.”

New for winter, Mountain Modern will also offer families the ultimate travel experience with its Family Adventure Package, featuring three nights in a two-bedroom Teton Townhome, $75 daily dining credit for The Triple M, four tickets to a sunrise or sunset Wildlife Grand Teton National Park Adventure with EcoTour Adventures, ‘Fuel Your Adventure’ grocery and gear service and a ‘Change Your Altitude’ kit – a punny tote bag filled with Boost Oxygen supplemental oxygen, mineral sunscreen, SPF lip balm, Honey Stinger Electrolyte Chews, a protein bar and more – which are also available for individual purchase by all guests.
