FARMINGTON, Pa., Jan. 26, 2016 — Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is pleased to announce the appointment of Monte F. Hansen as Managing Director of Pennsylvania's premier 2,000-acre luxury resort destination.
An industry veteran, he brings more than 15 years of hotel executive experience with a strong emphasis in luxury hospitality management and an extreme passion for cultivating brand cultures. Under Hansen's leadership the resort is set to unveil resort-wide renovations totaling more than seven million dollars, from a new associate lounge and dining center to an additional pool, sauna, and an outdoor dining addition to the resort's popular entertainment complex.
During his previous appointment as General Manager of Keswick Hall and Golf Club in Keswick, Virginia, Hansen focused his team on hotel and group sales and increased memberships. Under his guidance, within nine months, the resort attained a Forbes Five-Star designation and reached record financial growth.
"Monte is a genuine leader who understands and supports my visions for Nemacolin," said Maggie Hardy Magerko, Founder and Owner of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. "In the 29-year history of our resort I have never been more confident nor excited, for the direction and opportunities for Nemacolin with Monte at the helm."
