Troy, NY – September 24, 2018 – Courtyard by Marriott Albany Troy/Waterfront opens its doors in Troy, New York. Featuring an innovative lobby space as well as Courtyard’s latest contemporary room design, the new hotel provides flexibility and choices that allow guests to optimize and elevate their travel experience. Located at 515 River Street, the 132-room hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by a joint venture between Hampstead America LLC and First Columbia, LLC, and managed by DelMonte Hotel Group of Rochester, New York.
Located on the Hudson River in historic downtown Troy, the Courtyard Albany Troy/Waterfront is in walking distance to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Russell Sage College. The hotel is situated eight miles from Albany and 10 minutes from Albany International Airport and offers guests convenient access to Poestenkill Falls, Troy Savings Bank Music Hall and Tri-City ValleyCats Baseball.
The five-story hotel features an 1,800 square-foot waterfront patio with three fire pits, a fitness center and guest laundry, and offers 900 square feet of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 40 people.
