April 27–DODGE CITY — A new 120-room all-suite hotel is scheduled to open on Wednesday.
TownePlace Suites Dodge City, 2800 W. Wyatt Earp Blvd., will operate as a Marriott franchise, managed by Plains Management Group of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Ideal for travelers who need accommodations for longer stays, the property offers studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens that have stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, as well as separate living/working and sleeping areas, according to a company news release.
“We are pleased to introduce the TownePlace Suites brand to the Dodge City area,” Loren Nalewanski, vice president and global brand manager stated in the release. “Providing an upscale residential atmosphere, this TownePlace Suites hotel offers an appealing alternative to more standard hotel rooms designed for shorter stays.”
Six miles from the local airport and five minutes from downtown, the hotel offers complimentary continental breakfast every morning, as well as 24-hour coffee service. Other hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, a barbecue area, a 24 hours access exercise room, meeting room, and complimentary wireless Internet throughout the hotel.
The hotel is pet-friendly — though fees may apply — and it also provides laundry facilities for guests’ convenience.
Launched in 1997, the brand currently has more than 200 locations in the United States and Canada.
