NEW YORK (July 5, 2018) — New York Hilton Midtown has appointed Jason Tresh to hotel manager effective today. Possessing over 20 years of strategic business and hospitality experience, Tresh will oversee day-to-day operations while ensuring an elevated experience for all guests of the iconic 1,931-room property.
“As a prized member of the Hilton family for over a decade, including a seven-year tenure at New York Hilton Midtown, Jason’s proven leadership skills will ensure the continued success of our hotel operations and overall guest satisfaction” said Diarmuid Dwyer, New York Hilton Midtown general manager.
Most recently, Tresh served as the hotel manager at Hilton San Francisco where he elevated overall hotel performance including increasing guest satisfaction scores, repositioning food and beverage, increased overall profitability, and more. Prior to his time in San Francisco, he served as director of food and beverage at New York Hilton Midtown where Tresh helped to successfully reinvent the hotel’s food and beverage program. He has also held positions as executive assistant manager and director of food and beverage at Millenium Hilton; assistant general manager and director of catering at Madison Towers; and corporate sales manager at Benchmark Hospitality, among others.
Tresh earned a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and an Associate Degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence R.I.
