NewcrestImage has added a 152-room Hilton Garden Inn to its portfolio with the opening on Friday, April 16 of a six-floor hotel in SilverLake Crossings, a 52-acre multi-use community in Grapevine, Texas, just two miles from DFW Airport and midway between Dallas and Fort Worth.
The property creates the company’s third tri-branded hotel as it joins the immediately adjacent dual-brand property — a 181-room Courtyard by Marriott and a 120-suite TowneSuites by Marriott – that has operated since December of 2013.
This “hotel campus” offers 453 rooms, two lobby bars, multiple dining options, and more than 20,000 square feet of meeting space at the nearby SilverLake 2200 Conference Center.
“Consumers are ready to return to pre-pandemic behavior and we’re ready to make travelers feel welcome, relaxed, and protected,” said Mehul Patel, Chairman and CEO of NewcrestImage. “Guests want more than just a bed and that’s exactly what we have created – a hotel that delivers style and comfort, without sacrificing safety and hygiene.”
The new Hilton Garden Inn is characterized by an airy contemporary design accented with bright, colorful decor. Each guest room includes a spacious work desk and ergonomic desk chair, as well as a “hospitality center” with mini-fridge, microwave oven, and coffee maker.
Hotel amenities include a 24-hour business center with remote printing; state-of-the-art fitness center; on-site laundry; and multiple on-site dining options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For example, the Vine 52 lobby bar and restaurant offers an extensive selection of Texas food flavors, craft beers, and wines from Grapevine wineries.
Guests also have access to a 24-hour grab-and-go shop where upscale availabilities range from indulgent to artisanal gourmet to fresh and health. Beverages include a self-serve specialty coffee bar.
The new Hilton Garden Inn is located less than a mile from Grapevine Mills Mall, where shoppers will find more than 200 stores and an aquarium that features two-levels, 45,000 square feet, and the only 360-degree ocean tunnel in Texas.
Within two miles of the hotel is the Gaylord Texan Convention Center, with 490,000 square feet of meeting space, 10 on-site restaurants, and 4.5 acres of indoor gardens and waterways.
Within three miles of the hotel is Grapevine’s historic Main Street District — a vibrant walkable area that offers a wide variety of wine tasting rooms, restaurants, boutique shops, art galleries, and live entertainment venues, as well as a vintage railroad.
Still other attractions near the Hilton Garden Inn are Six Flags Over Texas theme park; horse racing at Lone Star Park; car racing at Texas Motor Speedway; and the 98-acre Fort Worth Stockyards historic district.
Also convenient to the hotel are two major multi-purpose venues – Globe Life Park in Arlington with 49,000 seats, and AT&T Stadium that accommodates 80,000 people and is home to football’s Dallas Cowboys.
NewcrestImage owns and operates 31 distinctive hotels nationwide, including through its private real estate funds.
Among the company’s properties are two other tri-branded complexes, both in metro Dallas – one in downtown includes an AC Hotel by Marriott, a Residence Inn, and a Hampton Inn & Suites, while a second in Frisco Station includes an AC Hotel, a Residence Inn, and a Canopy by Hilton.
