CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (September 25, 2023) – Omni Charlottesville Hotel will soon debut its $15 million renovation of its guest rooms, public spaces, dining venues and meeting space. The hotel renovation’s design combines historic traditions with contemporary touches, drawing inspiration from Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello and the city’s rich culture.

Upon arrival in the main lobby, guests are greeted by statement seating thoughtfully arranged into four conversation areas. This sophisticated setting maintains an inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements Virginia’s colonial architecture heritage.
Each of the 199 guest rooms and six suites have been tastefully renewed, with elegant wall coverings, custom headboards, and decorative accents. Furthermore, spa-worthy walk-in showers and white marble vanities add a touch of luxury to each guest bathroom.
One of the highlights of this revitalization is The Conservatory, a new restaurant and bar concept, specializing in innovative cocktails and small shareable plates inspired by local cuisine. Guests are encouraged to unwind by the patio firepit, sip drinks at the bar, and socialize at leisure throughout the open concept space.
Additionally, the newly introduced Hillock Neighborhood Kitchen is a delightful breakfast and lunch spot that embraces Virginia’s history, food and culture. Located off the hotel’s lobby, guests can savor specialty coffee, juices, seasonal grab-and-go items, and local southern goods.
The conference space offerings have been renovated as well with three new flexible meeting rooms, including a private dining venue, giving the hotel up to 14,000 square feet of function space. The updates also include state-of-the-art audio-visual technology.
