Five-star boutique hotel in Verona welcomes experienced hospitality leader
VERONA, Italy – January 19, 2016 – Palazzo Victoria, the five-star, 14th century historic hotel in the heart of Verona, Italy, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Paolo Cazzin as its new Director of Sales & Marketing. In his new role, Paolo Cazzin will lead the creation and implementation of the hotel’s yearly business and marketing plans as well as oversee and manage the dynamic sales team.
With 18 years of hospitality experience, Paolo Cazzin previously served as the Director of Group Sales for THE BAUERs Hotel in Venice, Italy, which represents six exclusive properties in the city and is member of The Leading Hotels of the World. In this position, Paolo Cazzin coordinated all group sales and ensured successful outcomes for business conferences, private parties, celebrity weddings, royalty reunions and political assemblies. He was also responsible for executing all sales objectives, meeting food and beverage revenue goals, maintaining relationships with meeting and incentive planners, conducting international market research and providing feedback on changing industry conditions.
After graduating from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice with a degree in Economy in Tourism, Paolo Cazzin grew to understand the industry through various positions in operations in Venice, London and Amsterdam.
