St. Kitts, October 11, 2024— Park Hyatt St. Kitts, the premier luxury resort on St. Kitts, is pleased to announce the appointment of George Vlachopoulos as General Manager.
George Vlachopoulos joins Park Hyatt St. Kitts, bringing over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry at some of the most prestigious luxury resorts in the world. Originally from Athens, Greece, Vlachopoulos has built an impressive tenure working in eight countries across three continents, most recently serving as General Manager of Malliouhana, Auberge Resorts Collection. Prior to his time at Malliouhana, Vlachopoulos served as the Area General Manager of Auberge Resorts Collection’s renowned Santorini & Mykonos property, quickly earning a promotion to designated VP-Operations Europe for the brand, and has also spent time as the General Manager for the Aqua Blue, SLH in Greece, Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve property in Thailand and the famed Nihi Sumba Island Resort in Indonesia, named twice under his leadership as the World’s Best Hotel by Travel + Leisure.
In this new role at Park Hyatt St. Kitts, Vlachopoulos is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort including the full-service Sugar Mill Spa & Sanctuary, its three restaurants – Great House, Fisherman’s Village, Stone Barn, as well as the resort’s signature Destination Dining program – and all experiences, service and amenities from its Topgolf Swing Suite® and outdoor pickleball courts to its beachfront activities and dedicated event spaces. His deep knowledge of the industry and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences make him the perfect fit to support Park Hyatt St. Kitts’ world-class reputation and lead the resort into its next chapter.
