KNOXVILLE, TENN. DECEMBER 12, 2019 – Officials of Peachtree Hotel Group today announced the temporary transition of the Four Points by Sheraton Knoxville Cumberland House into the Cumberland House Knoxville while the hotel completes a $12 million, approximately six-month renovation to completely transform the hotel. Upon completion of the renovation in the early summer of 2020, the hotel will be rebranded as the Cumberland House Knoxville Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
“As we enhance the hotel to meet the requirements of upscale travelers to the Knoxville area, we will maintain operations as usual under a temporary, independent, boutique brand,” said Mitul Patel, COO of Peachtree Hotel Group who is leading the hotel’s transformation. “Upon completion next year, the hotel’s incredible location will be augmented with thoughtful and swanky designs that will incorporate locally inspired programming. The hotel’s exterior will be reimagined completely to include a vintage marquee sign that sets the stage for a unique hotel experience. Upon check-in, guests will be greeted by the combined reception desk and lobby bar leading into an engaging social hub and gathering place. Guestrooms and public spaces will include rich textures and textiles layered on top of wood and metal accents that create an intriguing and moody ambiance. The hotel also will offer meeting spaces equipped with modern technology, state- of-the-art fitness center and a modern take on Appalachian-inspired food and beverage offerings.
Owned by Peachtree Hotel Group, Cumberland House Knoxville is managed and operated by Peachtree Hospitality Management, the management division of Peachtree Hotel Group.
