JACKSON, Tenn., February 22, 2018—Officials of Peachtree Hotel Group (PHG), one of the nation’s fastest growing hotel investment and management platforms, today announced the grand opening of the 98-room Hilton Garden Inn Jackson in Tenn.
“While we continue to seek both acquisition and third-party management candidates, we have a healthy appetite for ground-up development projects, as well,” said Brent LeBlanc, senior vice president, Peachtree Hotel Group. “With many hoteliers focused strictly on top MSAs, hotel deals in those markets are becoming harder and harder to come by with multiple groups fighting for the same property, which incidentally drives up prices, too. By targeting smaller, secondary and tertiary markets with comparable demand and typically an even more pronounced lack of supply, we can move quickly and purposefully with our fund reserves to transact on deals that meet our portfolio criteria.”
Located off of Interstate 40 and Highway 45 at 1324 Vann Drive, the hotel is proximate to a large outdoor retail center and five minutes from downtown Jackson. Jackson serves as a regional hub for five major transportation companies, including FedEx, UPS and Old Dominion.
Hotel amenities include an outdoor, walk-in, heated, saltwater pool; 24-hour fitness center; complimentary, cooked-to-order breakfast; evening manager’s reception; and the Pavilion Pantry, the hotel’s convenience store offering snacks and assorted small items. Guests may dine at the Garden Grille & Bar, offering three meals daily in an Americana style. The hotel also provides 2,300 sq. ft. of flexible event space, including the Tennessee Room, for events for up to 100 people, and a boardroom for small meetings of up to 12 people.
Guest rooms offer an oversized workspace with ergonomic chair, two phones with two lines, data port and voice mail, desk level electrical outlets and complimentary Wi-Fi and wired internet access. Each room is equipped with microwave, mini-refrigerator, Keurig coffee/tea maker, iron and ironing board, alarm clock with an MP3 jack and 40-inch HDTV with DIRECTV.
“The Jackson market has exhibited consistent RevPAR growth over the past several years,” LeBlanc added. “Following its initial ramp-up phase, we are confident the Hilton Garden Inn Jackson quickly will become the market and segment leader.”
