Patrick Scully and Jason Roma join food and beverage team at first new Key Largo resort in 21 years
KEY LARGO, FL – February 3, 2016 – Playa Largo Resort & Spa, the newest addition to Marriott International’s Autograph Collection, is proud to announce the appointment of Patrick Scully as Director of Food & Beverage and Jason Roma as Director of Restaurants for the resort, set to open in Spring 2016.
In his new role, Patrick Scully will oversee all of Playa Largo’s food & beverage and banquet operations. Playa Largo’s primary food and beverage venues will include La Marea, Key Largo’s first true steakhouse, a signature seafood experience at Sol, an open-air venue offering spectacular sunset views and Peruvian ceviche and tiraditos at Las Olas. A seasoned pro in the F&B realm, Patrick Scully served as Director of Food & Beverage at The Westin Charlotte Hotel and the Director of Restaurants and Bars at the Le Méridien in New Orleans. During his time at these locations, he was responsible for the creation, staffing, implementation and opening of the hotel’s food and beverage venues.
As Director of Restaurants, Roma will oversee and direct the day-to-day operations of all restaurants, in-room dining, bars and pool & beach service. Roma brings more than 28 years of hospitality experience, starting with the Ritz Carlton and most recently as Managing Partner of Kiki’s Sandbar on Little Torch Key & General Manager of Guy Harvey’s Island Grill in Key West.
