PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 2, 2017—Officials of PM Hotel Group, a leading, national hotel management company, and The Buccini/Pollin Group, a privately-held, full-service real estate acquisition, development and management company (BPG), today completed the topping off of the 153-room Canopy by Hilton Portland Pearl District. To commemorate the occasion, the hotel hosted a unique mosaic tile signing ceremony.

Nestled in the Pearl District on Portland’s Gallery Row, the hotel is located at 425 NW 9th Avenue, a short distance from the Willamette River and Pioneer Courthouse Square. The Pearl District surrounding the hotel is comprised of repurposed, historic warehouses and cobblestone streets that have been transformed into a vibrant leisure destination with eclectic retail, dining and entertainment offerings. Guests are invited to explore the area using one of the hotel’s complimentary rental bicycles or jump aboard a nearby Portland Streetcar.
Each “Just-Right” guest room will feature free Wi-Fi, 55-inch television, refrigerated drawer, Nespresso® machine, tea kettle, plush bathrobes and the signature Canopy Bed with gel memory foam and Serta Cool Balance® technology. Guests can start the day with a signature Break Fast bag delivered to the room or head down to Canopy Central for a complimentary, artisanal breakfast. In addition to the numerous local dining options, guests will be able to grab a bite throughout the day at the Canopy Central bistro, which will highlight local ingredients such as wild salmon, razor clams, hazelnuts, locally grown blueberries and fiddleheads. The hotel lounge will stock world-class Willamette Valley wines and locally crafted beers and mix signature cocktails from Portland’s renowned Distillery Row, all of which are highlighted at a tasting each evening at the communal tables in Canopy Central.
Hotel amenities include 2,807 square feet of flexible meeting space located around a two-story “winter garden” leading to the main level, Canopy Retreat quiet area within Canopy Central, Business Zone work area, a rooftop fitness center and numerous eco-friendly features like filtered water stations and refillable bottles on each guest floor, as well as a “green” roof.
