MINNEAPOLIS (January 2, 2017) — Radisson Blu Minneapolis Downtown announces the promotion of Stephanie Hartmann to director of revenue management. In this position, Hartmann is tasked with achieving maximum hotel revenue by analyzing data, developing and implementing effective revenue management programs and strategies, and managing the reservations department.

Hartmann earned her promotion after demonstrating deep understanding of competitive hotel pricing and the impact of local area compression in a fluid marketplace. Her open, candid, and accurate communication with key executives in the hotel, the management company, and the asset manager make her ideal for the position.

As director of revenue management, Hartmann implements strategies to drive rate and occupancy to aide in enhanced profits, assists in the creation of the annual budget, and creates and controls special promotions and rate parity and inventory.

“Stephanie has been fulfilling this role extremely well over the last year,” says Steve Lindburg, general manager, Radisson Blu Minneapolis Downtown. “She has earned the promotion to Director and a seat on the Hotel’s Executive Committee by consistently managing the details, critiquing our business decisions, and controlling future availability of our transient business segment.”

Hartmann is also charged with maintaining a dynamic 365 day rooms inventory, combined with demand generators and a 365 day review of city occupancy levels in competitor hotels. She plays a critical role in the development of accurate business-level forecasts, and creation of operating budgets.

Following graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato, Hartmann worked at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Fort Myers, FL, where she coordinated local marketing endeavors and ranked in the top three in sales. She later joined Hilton Worldwide, Minneapolis, MN, where she maintained annual budgets, controlled daily inventory and created incentive programs to drive revenue.
